I’m a freelance journalist, copywriter, publicist, and all-around wordsmith. I love to use historical research to tell compelling, socially informed stories about music. I enjoy writing about the arts as they intersect with social justice, feminism, and marginalized narratives. How can we build artistic spaces that are inclusive, inquisitive, and socially engaged?

Currently, I’m the South Florida contributor for Schmopera.com and a social media copywriter for the Miami-based communications firm The AO Insight. Previously, I have interned in the Public Relations Office at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and have had creative fiction published in McSweeney’s Internet TendencyThe Harpoon Review, and LOGOS literary magazine.

Whether you need program notes, web copy, a press release, an artist biography, or a snazzy Twitter feed, I’m here to help. Click here to email me for work samples or more information about my writing services!
