I’m an experienced instructor working with oboists of all ages. My students have gone on to earn Superior ratings at FBA Solo & Ensemble Festivals, perform at the Music For All National Festival, and excel as first-chair players in their school band and orchestra programs.

I teach a tailored curriculum balancing technique with musicality. I also believe that music theory and history are important facets of an oboe education. My students enjoy embarking on research “scavenger hunt” assignments and composing their own pieces!
