I’m an experienced instructor working with oboists of all ages. My students have gone on to earn Superior ratings at FBA Solo & Ensemble Festivals, win acceptance into Florida All-State ensembles, perform with the University of Miami and Florida Memorial University honor bands, and excel as first-chair players in their school band and orchestra programs.

I teach a tailored curriculum balancing technique with musicality. I also believe that music theory and history are important facets of an oboe education. My students enjoy embarking on research “scavenger hunt” assignments and composing their own pieces!

To increase affordability and accessibility, I maintain a virtual studio using Zoom Video Conference, with opportunities for periodic in-person lessons and reed adjustment for students living in Miami-Dade, Broward, or Palm Beach counties.
